A purchase and donation of a golf package includes an entire day and evening experience at the world famous Medinah Country Club – Site of the 2012 Ryder Cup.

This experience includes:  Driving range, lunch, all forecaddie fees, drinks on the course, use of clubhouse and locker rooms, open bar and appetizers during cocktail reception, silent auction with unusual items and special celebrity guests, sit down dinner with a high-end menu selection, AND an evening of  entertainment with  Illinois’ own Tom Dreesen and Steve Cochran.

EVENT DATE AND LOCATION:

Thursday July 7, 2011, Medinah Country Club – Site of the 2012 Ryder Cup

Once Again We are Grateful that Our  Illinois Family Host  is Jarrett and Trisha Payton

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:

  • 8:30 am – Registration
  • 12:00 pm – Opening Ceremonies – Posting of colors, playing of TAPS, and presentation by IPEF **
  • 1:00 pm – Course 1 Shotgun Start
  • 6:00 pm – Cocktail Reception and Silent Auction
  • 7:30 pm – Dinner, Presentation, Entertainment featuring emcee Steve Cochran and headliner Tom Dreesen

** Posting of colors presented by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7539, Bloomingdale, IL

Overnight accommodations will be available at Eaglewood Resort and Spa (details and special rates to come)

All proceeds go directly to the Illinois Patriot Education Fund and remain local. Country Club attire is required at all times:  collared shirts, slacks, NO DENIM please.  In case of inclement weather, your donation is appreciated.

LIMITED OPPORTUNITY:

Corporate Sponsorship Packages include the opportunity to play the 2012 PGA Ryder Cup course.  Click HERE for more information on how to become a corporate sponsor.

You can also secure your own foursome to play on Medinah’s Famous  PGA/Ryder Cup Course #3 – Site of the 2012 Ryder Cup – this option is very limited.  A total of three (first come first serve) foursomes will be made available.  The price per player is $1,200.  This unique package will be customized to your needs and may include:  Lunch, driving range, personal/walking caddie, drinks and dinner. All Medinah amenities are included. You will be personally hosted by a Medinah member on this world class golf course. You must email Mark@illinoispatriot.com to reserve this spot and design your customized golf package.

In the coming weeks we will be announcing celebrity hosts, special guests and VIP attendees, so be sure to secure your spot early, as we expect to sell out just as we did in 2010. This outing will be limited to 116 golfers and a total of 230 dinner guests.

The Illinois Patriot Education Fund raises scholarship funds on behalf of the spouses and children of Illinois military service men and women who have given their lives or become disabled in service to our country. We also support the education of active duty members of our Armed Services over and above the benefits provided by the Post-911 GI Bill.
